Thanksgiving
Ginny Stillson, Kristen Smith, Lauren Resnick
I went home to Colquitt and ate Thanksgiving dinner. Instead of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, we had to eat Chinese take out. My mom washed the dishes which was really just the chopsticks while my dad walked the dogs. I decided to go on my own walk and I saw a stranger that turned out to be my sister's boyfriend. We remembered the time our dad dropped the turkey last year which made us realize it was a good idea that we chose to eat Chinese food this year instead. We whispered words about grandpa feeding the dog cranberry sauce under the table and how this year grandpa fed the dog sesame chicken. The dog got sick but it was a great Thanksgiving.

This is really cool how you changed just those few words into a full story about Thanksgiving. When I wrote the story, I took it in a totally different direction. It is cool to see how our thoughts differ and how we can do different things with those few words when we elaborate.
